Jewish Beginnings Lubavitch Preschool utilizes its lush outdoor area as its classroom during the summer months. Children ages 6 weeks to four years discover and explore the outdoors through a multitude of ways. Water play and slide, sports, natural science and the arts are seen through a different lens when incorporated into the outdoors. Our butterfly, vegetable and flower gardens require helping hands all summer long, and at day’s end children may be found handing out lemonade from their own lemonade stand. Problem-solving opportunities abound and children are encouraged to follow their unique gifts and talents.
Our summer camp is a journey for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years offering dance, mixed media art, Hebrew, sports, cooking, organic gardening, and water play. An integral part of our camp is our community learning. We create a series of meetings between the children and various people with different roles in our community including a journalist, a grocer, an artist, an athlete, a police officer, a fireman, and a dentist. Children will enjoy our Fourth of July parade, talent show, kids’ carnival, camping undernight, and end of summer picnic.
